to bit or not to bit

This work illustrates part of an undergoing PhD thesis of the Post-Graduate Program in Knowledge Engineering and Management (EGC) at Federal University of Santa Catarina in Brazil. Why digital revolution is a current tendency is the leading question of this work. More than a discussion about a merely technological revolution, the author wants to assess the strength that is supporting this tendency and opens a debate about changes in the production of subjection process in contemporary. The approach is made by contrasting Deleuze and Baudrillard’s concepts with the Subject theory proposed by Lacan, which relates the notion of subject and the concept of jouissance. Here, the amazing reversibility of the digital (even transforming in extraneous those significations forms, that fostered civilization in the last centuries) promote more consistent ways of denegation of the "lack of being", constitutive element of the modern subject.
